International Year One (IY1)

International Year One (IY1) เป็นหลักสูตรที่ออกแบบมาสำหรับนักศึกษานานาชาติที่สำเร็จวุฒิการศึกษาระดับมัธยมปลายแต่อาจจะขาดคุณสมบัติบางประการเช่น เกรดเฉลี่ยต่ำ หรือคะแนนระดับภาษาอังกฤษไม่ถึงเกณฑ์นักศึกษาทุกคนที่สำเร็จการเรียนโปรแกรม IY1 จะได้รับการรับการการันตีให้เลื่อนเข้าเรียนต่อไปยังปีที่ 2 ของปริญญาตรีในสาขาธุรกิจและวิศวกรรมที่มหาวิทยาลัยฮัลล์   หลักสูตรนี้ถูกตั้งอยู่ Level- 4 ซึ่งเทียบเท่ากับปีแรกของปริญญาตรีด้านธุรกิจในสหราชอาณาจักร ระยะเวลาหลักสูตรคือหนึ่งปีการศึกษา (เก้าเดือน) โดยเฉลี่ยนักเรียนจะเรียนในห้องเรียน 23 ชั่วโมง (และสูงสุด 28 ชั่วโมง) ต่อสัปดาห์
