MDIS ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1956 เป็นหนึ่งในสถาบันการศึกษาที่มั่นคงและเก่าแก่ที่สุดในประเทศสิงคโปร์ มีนักเรียนทั้งหมด 12,800 กว่าคน   MDIS มุ่งมั่นที่จะให้ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาจากสถาบันได้รับการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพมาตรฐานระดับสูง ในอันที่จะช่วยส่งเสริมความก้าวหน้าในด้านต่างๆทั้งการทำงานและธุรกิจ   MDIS ได้รับการรับรองคุณภาพจาก Singapore Quality Class (SQC) ออกโดย Private Education Organizations (PEOs) และ Case Trust อีกด้วย
MDIS ได้ร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักในระดับนานาชาติทั้งจากประเทศอังกฤษ อเมริกาออสเตรเลีย และ ฝรั่งเศส โดยคณะผู้สอนที่มีความสามารถ มีประสบการณ์สูง และได้รับการอนุมัติจากมหาวิทยาลัย   ใบปริญญาจะออกให้โดยมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำที่เข้าร่วมกับ MDIS ตามหลักสูตรที่เลือกเรียน

หลักสูตรที่เปิดสอน

หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการศึกษาต่อปริญญาตรีและโท (PCIE)

The Professional Certificate in English (PCIE) is an advanced course of the Certificate in English (CIE) that is aimed at helping students acquire English language skills in preparation for a tertiary education in English medium. The course is designed to equip and develop students with the ability to listen, speak, read and write.

The PCIE programme takes an eclectic approach towards the selection of syllabus design for each of the modules as well as the choice of language teaching/learning methods used in the classrooms.

COURSE OUTCOMES

  • Aims to help students acquire English language skills in preparation for a tertiary education in the English medium
  • Designed to ensure a progressive and systematic development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well as the linguistic competencies (i.e. pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and discourse)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be 14 years old and above
  • Students who do not meet minimum English requirement of IELTS 6.0, Credit Pass (C6) in GCE ‘O’ Level English or its equivalent

DURATION & STRUCTURE

  • 10 weeks per level
  • 5 days a week
  • from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • 350 contact hours with lecturers per level

COURSE INTAKE

  • 4 regular intakes in Dec/Jan, Apr, Jul, Sep/Oct

COURSE FEES

  • SGD 4,173 per level

Note:

  • All fees quoted are inclusive of GST.
  • International: Non-tuition fees for full-time programmes include MDIS membership entrance fee, membership subscription fees, MDIS experience workshop, PCIE exam fee, medical insurance, medical examination and administrative fee.
  • Non-tuition fees for international students may vary.

How to apply MDIS PCIE ?

Before joining our PCIE, student may need to take MDIS Online English Placement Test (OEPT) in home country or in MDIS Campus to receive the level of entry of PCIE.

How to register OEPT Test?
1) Fill up MDIS Application Form, Submit the copy of passport with MDIS application fees SGD 481.50 and Select the test date (Suggest to choose – working hours and days)

2) After 2 working days of registration, MDIS will send the OEPT link to the representative agent address

3) Student may take OEPT (duration in 2 hours)

4) Result will be released after 1-2 working days
